Programme Description

This CPD programme seeks to empower mental health professionals with the tools and techniques necessary to effectively handle conflict-related cases, while also promoting a more conducive and harmonious environment for client’s general growth and well-being. Participants will be introduced to conflict dynamics, communication techniques, and evidencebased conflict resolution therapies to foster constructive resolutions and enhance the overall well-being of clients in conflict

Programme Outcome

At the end of this training, participants shall be able to;
• Articulate a strong foundation in the principles, theories and significance of conflict resolution therapy.
• Recognize and differentiate between various types and sources of conflict that may emerge during therapy, and tailor their counselling approach accordingly.
• Apply active listening and empathetic communication skills effectively to foster strong therapeutic alliance, reduce tension, and promote open dialogue within conflict resolution therapy sessions.
• Implement a diverse range of conflict resolution models and techniques which are in line with the nature of the conflict and the needs of the client.
