TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology (TICT) was founded by Dr. Cecilia Tutu-Danquah in 2015 and it is duly registered with the Registrar General Department of Ghana.
TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology (TICT) is an academic, professional and research-based institution that promotes research, training and professionalism in the field of mental health (counselling specifically), education, technology and such related disciplines.
Our name TUCEE means Transforming our Universe via Counselling, Education and Empowerment.
TUCEE is registered under the Ghana Psychology Council (the regulatory body for Mental Health Practitioners-Ghana Health Service), Ghana Education Service, National Teaching Council, NGOs, corporate bodies, communities, associations and religious bodies to:
Promote mental health
promote mental health in all fields of studies, professions, organisation and the lives of individuals.
Train individuals, professionals and groups
to acquire skills and knowledge for innovative use of ICTs in their professions.
Organise empowerment programmes
to bring out the best in anyone, anywhere and anytime.

GENERAL AIMS
The basic aim of TICT is to create a new thought process of the society by empowering fellows (students) to reach for the highest practice in their profession (Counselling and Technology). This is done through the integration and application of counselling and technology-based knowledge and skills. In TICT, we believe that the greatest battle in human life starts from the mind and ends in the heart. For this reason, we hold the belief that once the mind and the heart are transformed toward the achievement of a goal nothing is impossible.
The Aims of the TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology:
• Train individuals who seek to pursue career in the area of Counselling, Education and Technology
• Organise seminars, public lectures and conferences to build the capacities of Counsellors and Associates for country and per capita income.
• Organise Continuous Professional Development Programmes (CPDs) for Counsellors, Educationists and other professionals whose jobs seek to empower and transform character.
• Provide the platform for academic research and publications in the area Counselling, Education and Technology.
