Course Description
The Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling programme is aimed at introducing students to the fundamental changes, challenges and counselling support systems relating to children and adolescents psychopathology. The course will further explore fundamental issues in career identification and development, general perspectives on appropriate career pathways and decision-making, as well as the interrelated nature of careers with individuals’ personality types and interests.

• examine the major theories in career counselling, their assumptions and related interventions for children and adolescents.
• discuss core stages in the career path identification and development programme.

Programme Delivery
This programme will be delivered mostly via online interactive tutoring sessions (i.e. on zoom). It will also involve group work, online discussions, peer teaching and practicum (role play)
